Roasted Asparagus

Spring is the perfect time to add asparagus to your menu plan. This time of year you will find the best price for asparagus since it is in season. I happen to love asparagus and roasting it is so easy!

Roasted Asparagus

Asparagus
Olive Oil
Seasoning of choice (I use a mix of garlic salt, pepper and parsley)

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut the woody ends off the asparagus. Place asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with seasoning. Place in oven for about 15 minutes.

Tips

  • If you are grilling outside, you can cook the asparagus on the grill too. I use the same method above but place the asparagus on foil instead of a baking sheet.
  • For an easy and flavorful appetizer, wrap bacon around the asparagus!
  • If you have leftover asparagus, make Asparagus & Crab Soup.
