Summer is coming and I for one am looking forward to sipping fruity little drinks poolside (as close to a tropical vacation as I am likely to get in the foreseeable future), but until then enjoy this fun, sweet little cocktail recipe at your next get together with friends or savor it as a light after dinner drink—no need to hit happy hour!
Pour the amaretto over ice in a small tumbler.
Next pour the sour over top. The sour is versatile, use whatever you have on hand.
- 2 oz. Amaretto
- 3 oz. Sour (any variety—Sundrop, 50/50, 7-Up etc.)
- 1 oz. Pineapple Juice
- Fill an 8 oz. tumbler with ice and then begin layering ingredients beginning with amaretto, followed by sour and topped with pineapple.
- Adjust measurements more or less to taste & desired strength.
- Serve & enjoy!
