Most of the leaves from our oak trees have hit the ground. That means that we have an abundance of leaves in our yard! Hubby made a huge leaf pile for the kids to play in the other day. It is amazing how a giant leaf pile can bring such joy to all of us – including our dogs! The neighbor children were over to play with their dog. We had five children and three dogs joining in the fun!

It’s really the simple things in life that bring the most laughs. We didn’t need toys to bring these belly laughs, just leaves and good company. We found it so funny that the dogs got just as excited as the kids! Humans and dogs were diving in, cover up and jumping out.

Enjoy the above video of the kids and dogs playing! (Note: If you are viewing this via email, click here to see video) If you have an abundance of leaves in the yard, make a huge pile before you clean them up. Jump in and bring on the belly laughs from kids and canines alike.

Remember that the book This Dog’s Afterlife is still free on Kindle! If you are a dog lover, this is a must read!
