Banana Ice Cream Recipe

Banana Ice Cream

The summer heat makes bananas ripen very quickly. Therefor I am always looking for recipes to use ripe bananas in! I cam across a one ingredient banana ice cream recipe via facebook. This is so simple and a great way to have “ice cream” without all of the calories!

Ingredients
  • Bananas
Instructions
  1. Slice bananas into chunks and place on a baking sheet.
  2. Freeze for 1-2 hours.
  3. Place frozen banana chunks in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.
  4. The frozen bananas become the consistency of custard ice cream.
Notes
* Add vanilla, chocolate or peanut butter for extra flavor!
