Stuffed Burger

One of our favorite meals is hamburgers. They are easy to grill and the whole family loves them! I recently received a Stuffed Burger Press from Good Cook and it has taken our burger making to a whole new level! Think of all of the ingredients that you could stuff inside a burger!

Cheese and pesto

Since I am in love with the flavors of summer, I decided to try a Caprese burger. The ground beef was mixed with balsamic dressing. Just add about 2 tablespoons of balsamic dressing to 3/4 pound of ground beef. Place a limp of ground beef in the bottom of the burger press and flatten. Once a well was made to hold the stuffed ingredients, I added mozzarella cheese and a teaspoon of basil pesto. Place additional ground beef on top and press to seal.

Burger on grill pan

I used the Good Cook Cast Iron Grill to cook my caprese burgers. This cast iron pan is amazing! It is very heavy duty. It makes grilling possible even when there is bad weather outside!

When the burger was cooked, I placed it on a bun with tomato and some fresh basil leaves. There was no need for extra condiments, the burger was nice a juicy. It was packed with flavor too!
