Cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies top my list of favorite desserts; are they on yours? If you love them as much as I do then you’ll love this recipe! It’s not only incredibly simple but incredibly delicious!
- (2) 16.5 oz pkgs refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough (or like amount of homemade dough)
- (2) 8 oz pkgs cream cheese, softened (I used ⅓ less fat for fewer calories)
- ½ cup sugar (or corresponding measurement for sugar substitute)
- 2 eggs
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Lightly grease a 13x9 inch baking pan.
- Reserve ½ a package of dough and press remaining 1 ½ packages evenly onto bottom of prepared pan.
- In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and eggs; beat until well blended and mixture is smooth.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over dough in pan.
- Break apart reserved dough and sprinkle over cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until center is almost set.
- Cool completely on a wire rack and refrigerate.
- Cut into bars; serve and enjoy!
