amazon gift

Having Amazon Prime was a gift in and of itself!?! However, I (Litsa) recently allowed my membership to expire—-or rather I didn’t renew at the $99 rate for 2014. I must say though that Amazon Prime—-and Amazon itself is a gift to yourself!

Several months ago, I (Litsa) purchased a Kindle. I have enjoyed reading more each day with free or inexpensive Kindle books. My last purchase was the book, Unglued, for $5.99 but then the price dropped to $0.99—-five dollars less. I happened to see the price drop just a day after my purchase. I specifically emailed customer service immediately after seeing this new ebook sale price. I wasn’t sure how Amazon would handle the situation. Within hours, I had my response.

Amazon refunded my $5.99 plus tax. I was sent a link via email with the refund information stated. Additionally, a link to conveniently repurchase my ebook was sent. I would have to agree with Renae’s positive remarks about shopping on Amazon—-did either of us mention saving gas/time from shopping online at home!?!

The only deal that is still on the table is Amazon Prime!?! Will I reinstate my membership for $99 a year? Or will a price drop be available for it in the near future!?!

Do you use Amazon from the comfort of your home?
