Chicken Dill Salad

I came up with this easy chicken salad recipe for a quick lunch idea using leftover chicken. I do not care for the traditional chicken salad with celery and onions.

Dill Chicken Salad Recipe

1 Cooked Chicken Breast, diced
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Teaspoon  Dill
Handful of Craisins
Handful of Chopped Walnuts

Mix all of the ingredients together. Serve on a sandwich or over top of greens salad style.

This recipe makes two sandwiches for me.

  1. Great looking chicken salad! Thanks for sharing.

  2. Sounds like a great option for a summer meal!!!

  3. What happened?????? It ended so atpurbly . You see . I DID read your story; AND I want to know what finally happened. In case you didn’t notice, that is a huge compliment. A member of your reading audience is interested enough to want to know the conclusion. There were some interesting, good parts that were very descriptive . However, some of your punctuation needs a little work. Also, the title, though interesting, does not appear to have any connection to your story.I was looking for a surprise ending such as ..The guy she liked so much was a long lost relative. At first I thought he was a brother that went to Calif. with the dad, but then I reread the part about the parents splitting up.You show some promise. Just remember, though. Your story needs a good ending. It just seemed as though I was reading an exerpt from your diary, after a while. There was no conclusion.Good luck to you.Retired English professor
