Many times I (Litsa) find these ‘Manager’s Special’ stickers on items at our local grocery store! They are perfect items to pair with a coupon especially if they are ALL NATURAL! This Dole salad kit was pre-chopped (saving me time)! It was a bag full of cabbage, romaine, kale, carrots, green onions, smoked applewood bacon, and Danish blue cheese dressing (creamy)! I added baby Bella mushrooms, edamame, and a campari tomato to the vegetable mix when I filled my bowl with the Dole delights!

Additionally, I added honey roasted sunflower seeds to my salad! All of the vegetables infused together with the dressing to make a fantastic salad. I enjoyed the chopped variety of the Dole blend—along with my upgrade selections!

The salad kit was under a dollar after my coupon was applied to my transaction. If you are saving money and eating healthy determine when your local grocery store marks produce down at bargain prices for the best deals. This salad kit should create two more salads for easy lunches. Buying this blend definitely helped me eat healthy, stretch my grocery money, and prompted me to try a different salad for lunch!

Do you buy salad kits and/or do you upgrade your salad kits?
