Garlic Bread Baked Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • ½ stick of unsalted butter
  • Garlic & herb seasoning or garlic powder (to taste)
  • 5-6 cups spaghetti (premade or leftovers---prepared as desired)
  • 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Basil (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Cut the French bread in half in the center and then slice each half lengthwise to form four large slices of bread.
  3. Next spread the butter liberally over the entire exposed tops of the four slices of bread then season with garlic & herb seasoning or garlic powder.
  4. Bake for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven, carefully top each slice with 1-1½ cups of prepared spaghetti, ½ cup of mozzarella cheese and a dash of basil sprinkled over the top.
  6. Bake for an additional 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and begins to brown.
  7. Serve & enjoy!
Notes
Measurements are open to personal taste and preference. Experiment with alternative cheeses (Parmesan, Romano, Asiago etc.) and seasonings as desired!
