Chunky Tomato Sauce with Italian Sausage Recipe

  • ½ lb. Johnsonville Italian Sausage
  • 1 28 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes with Peppers and Onions
  • ½ Tbls. Dried Basil
  • 1 Cup Half & Half (or heavy cream)
  • ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
  • Spaghetti Noodles
Instructions
  1. Cook Italian Sausage according to package directions. Drain fat from sausage.
  2. Add the diced tomatoes and basil to the drained sausage. Cover and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes.
  3. Add half & half and Parmesan cheese to sauce. Simmer on low for an additional 5 minutes or until sauce starts to thicken.
  4. Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles.
