file it friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

fabric thumb tacs

Decorative Thumbtacks: Do you have fabric scraps? These fabric covered thumbtacks are so cute! They would surely make a cork board more interesting!

Bacon & Mushroom Sauteed Spinach: I have been on a huge spinach kick! In fact before this year, I didn’t care for cooked spinach. But now I love it- especially with mushrooms and onions. This recipe calls for bacon – it’s gotta be even better!

Poison Ivy, Poison Oak and Poison Sumac: Do you know the difference between the three and how to treat them? This guide is helpful!

Packing Checklist: Are you traveling this summer? Print off this free checklist to keep organized!

Basil-Parmesan-Grilled-Corn

Basil Parmesan Grilled Corn: I love grilled corn! Grilling corn brings out the sweetness. We have a ton of basil, so I need to try it on grilled corn!

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.
