file it friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

Apple-Butter

Apple Butter: I like that this recipe doesn’t call for refined sugar! Honey adds just a touch of sweetness.

Chocolate Cupcake with Pumpkin Spice Buttercream: The recipe for this pumpkin spice buttercream frosting looks delicious! It would probably be great on cookies too!

Good/ Bad Bugs for the Garden: This is a really helpful chart that shows which bugs are good and bad for your vegetable garden. Great pictures to help you identify them!

Homemade Halloween Costumes for Adults: There are some cute ideas for costumes. I love the Nemo in the reef costume but it would be difficult to move! Very creative!

Turkey-Cookie-Close-Up

Turkey Face Cookies: This post shows you step by step instructions on how to make a turkey face on a cookie!

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.
