File it Friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

S’mores in a Jar: These look delicious! They are super easy to make and I know my boys would love them!

Lunch Ideas: I first stumbled across this post because it shows you how to make cucumber cups! There are also some great lunch ideas fro both kids and adults.

Homemade Cheez-It Crackers: I have never even thought of making homemade crackers! Apparently it doesn’t take that many ingredients! I am adding this to my “to do” list!

Hot Rocks Craft: If you have bored kiddos, this is a super easy craft involving hot rocks and crayons. Inexpensive and fun!

Milk Art: This is another fun idea for a kids art craft. I think I will try to use the milk leftover in the kids cereal bowls!

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.

  1. The homemade cheese crackers link/s go to the smores recipe page. I can’t find the crackers recipe from there.

  2. Renae, thanks for mentioning my Milk Art DIY! :) I think it might be my favorite thing I’ve ever done with my kids… I may have loved it more than they did! HA! Have a great weekend!

  4. Today, while I was at work, my sister stole my iPad and tested
to see if it can survive a forty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now
broken and she has 83 views. I know this is completely off topic but I
had to share it with someone!
