File it Friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

Photo Candle Holder: This project looks super easy to duplicate. It calls for double sided tape but I would probably decoupage the photo on. You can get a glass vase at the Dollar Tree to make this project very affordable.

10 Christmas Printables: If you need a quick gift, checkout these Christmas printables. From a Tic-Tac label to a candy cane label there are some cute ideas.

Peanut Butter Dog Treats: Do you have furry children? Well here is an easy recipe for homemade dog biscuits! Can’t forget the furry ones gifts!

Creamy Avocado Dip Recipe: This avocado dip use Greek yogurt and looks yummy! Hubby and I are on a big avocado kick- too bad they are so expensive!

Chalkboard Gift Tags: These are super cute gift tags that can be used as an ornament or reused for the next gift!

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.

  1. If you have an Aldi’s near you, they have the least expensive avacados around where I live (Detroit Metro). Also, since I add stuff to my mother’s loyalty card for Vons, they have avacados on sale for 50 cents each.

    • Hi Julie,
We don’t have an Aldi’s in Central Virginia and avocados are $1 each on sale. It’s crazy! Where I grew up in California you could easily get 3 for $1 or $0.50 each at the most. I did find a bag of 4 avocados at Trader Joe’s yesterday fro $2.99 which is the best price we are going to get back here.

  2. Oh… forgot to say that Von’s for her is in southern California, not sure if they’re in other states. Also Aldi has different prices/sale items at different locations.
