File it Friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

Chocolate Milk Snowman: Dress up your glasses to be snowmen! I am sure kids would get a kick out of drinking from a snowman glass. This is super easy to duplicate and you can even make homemade chocolate syrup to make the chocolate milk!

Photography Tip for Christmas Trees: Many of us will be taking pictures around the Christmas tree soon. Check out this photography tutorial on how to take better pictures around the tree! I am still learning how to use my camera well and this tutorial was a big help!

Glass Etching Tutorial: It looks like it is pretty easy to etch a name or image into a glass dish. Maybe etch a last name onto a baking dish and give it as a gift!

Strawberry Banana Slushy: We make homemade smoothies a lot but I had never thought of making a slushy! Very easy and low calorie if you use diet soda.

Ruffly Apron: If you are making some homemade gifts this year, check out this ruffly apron! It is adorable. Mom, if you are reading today, you should make these!

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.
