File it Friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

DIY Valentine’s Wreath: This is a very easy wreath to make to brighten up your door for Valentine’s Day!

Slow Cooker Refried Beans: We had refried beans this last week from a can and I decided the next time I am going to try to make homemade beans! This slow cooker recipe looks easy enough!

Half Moon Cookies: Since hubby is from upstate New York, he love Half Moon Cookies! His brother actually had some shipped to us before our wedding in California years ago! I have never tried to make them but may attempt to at some point.

Tip for Avocado Buying: We eat avocado’s every week and it is so frustrating when we get a bad one. I enjoyed reading this tip on picking a perfect avocado!

Bacon & Pea Macaroni & Cheese: Oh. My. Goodness. This recipe looks so good! We have some peas that need to be used so I will be making this dish over the weekend. I like that the recipe calls for Greek yogurt!

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.
