National park Week

In the Fall of 2015, all fourth grade students nationwide will be able to access National Parks for free. This is part of the Every Kid in a Park initiative. What this means is that 4th grade students and their families will be able to visit National Parks for free for the 2015/2016 school year.

In the coming months you will be able to register for a free Every Kid in a Park pass. This pass will give you free access to national parks, national forests, national wildlife refuges, and more!

Capt. M will be a 4th grader next year. Hopefully we will be able to take advantage of this offer and visit some parks here in Virginia. Stay tuned for more information in the coming months from the National Park Service.
