Pressure Cooker giveaway 2

The busiest room in my house this time of year is the kitchen. I love to bake, make candy and cook homemade meals. Plus having the oven on just warms the house! There are many times that my oven is overstuffed. That’s where a pressure cooker comes in handy! With a pressure cooker a meal can be made in a fraction of the time.

Clipso Pressure CookerI recently received the Clipso Pressure Cooker by T-fal for review. I have only used a pressure cooker once before and it was for canning green beans. It turns out that using a pressure cooker for meals is pretty easy! The Clipso Pressure Cooker has a one handed, easy to open system. I made roast beef in about 40 minutes! I anticipated that the steam release would take awhile but it really didn’t. After about 30 seconds all of the steam had released and I was easily able to remove the lid. I also felt very safe using the pressure cooker since it has a variable release pressure valve. With a simple twist of the lever the steam is released.

Browned Pot Roast

The Clipso Pressure Cooker is made of durable stainless steel. The base heats evenly which allowed me to brown the roast in the pan before applying the pressure cooker lid. The pressure cooker also comes with a steam basket for vegetables! The one thing I can’t wait to try is using the pressure cooker for dried beans! I will be able to make homemade beans in a very short time. The Clipso Pressure Cooker comes with a recipe book to get you started too.

Cooked Pot Roast

Of course the other issue I deal with this time of year is kitchen cleanup. Actually,  I should say that hubby is the one that deals with cleanup. Yes I make the mess and he gets to clean it up! That’s where The Zabada Kitchen Handy comes into play.

The Kitchen HandyThe Kitchen Handy is a reusable scouring pad. It uses microfiber technology that cleans with just water. Yep, no chemicals involved here! The Zabada fiber clean technology is great for countertops, stovetops and greasy baking dishes. One side of The Kitchen Handy has light scouring fibers that are great for removing grime on baking dishes. The nice thing about Zabada products is they are machine washable and last up to 3 years!
