A couple of weeks ago, Capt. M had taken an interest in photography. When checking out pictures on my iPhone, I would discover random pictures that I didn’t take. It turns out that Capt. M would take my phone and take pictures whenever he got the chance. Since Capt. M is only 7, I wanted to get him his own camera since I don’t trust him with my iPhone! One of Capt. M’s birthday gifts this year was a VTech Kidizoom Camera Connect.
The Kidizoom Camera Connect from VTech has a ton of features! Capt. M is able to take and edit digital photos, make movies and play games! The Kidizoom is a 1.3 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom. It also stores approximately 800 photos – which is amazing! I also love that this camera is durable; yes it has already been dropped!
My boys are having a great time with the wacky effects on the camera. There is built in clip art that you can align with anyones face for a funny photo!
What do you think of Mr. B as a cheerleader?
Or how about kaleidoscope eyes?
The one thing to note, is that the Kidizoom does require a lot of natural light for the best pictures. Also, it helps if the person in the picture is very still. Capt. M had a lot of blurry pictures in the beginning. However, the video is pretty cool! It even records sound. My boys have taken a ton of silly videos of each other that make us all laugh!
This fun camera for kids also connects to VTech’s Learning Lodge. The Kidizoom Camera Connect is appropriate for ages 3-8 and retails for $39.99.
One How to Have it All reader will win a Kidizoom Camera Connect from VTech!
