Happy First Day of Fall!

It’s the first day of Fall and the weather here is certainly showing it! We have had beautiful days in the 70’s with nights dipping into the 40’s and 50’s. I LOVE the chill in the air in the mornings- cool and crisp. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. I can’t wait to see the pops of color in the trees- orange, red and yellow soon to come.

Acorns are dropping like crazy in our yard. The boys have been collecting them just for fun and we have two buckets full! I think I need to find an acorn craft for them. Of course I try not to read into those acorns; does this mean it’s going to be a tough winter? I hope not as I am not the biggest fan of driving in the snow!

Acorn Wreath Craft

Remember last year I made this acorn cap wreath. Start collecting acorn caps and pine cones now for future projects. Decorating with nature is inexpensive and adds texture!

It’s not too late to make a Fall Bucket List either! There are so many fun fall activities to do with the family.

Yesterday I had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte to celebrate! Of course I had to have a slice of pumpkin bread to complete my snack. Love, love, love pumpkin!

Do you love Fall too? What are you doing to celebrate?
