Health Benefits of Walking Barefoot

One thing that my hubby and I disagree on is shoes! I wear barefoot shoes or no shoes at all. Therefore I see no problem with my boys being barefoot outside. Hubby on the other hand has very sensitive feet and can’t stand to be barefoot. He is constantly telling the boys to put shoes on.

The other day our boys were out playing with the neighbor girls. All four of them will barefoot and covered in dirt from head to toe. The oldest girl (age 9) says to me, “my mom said that if you spend at least 5 minutes barefoot in the dirt each day you will be happier!”.

I mentioned this to my friend and she sent me the above image. It says:

Get more chi, clear your mind, fight varicose veins, free reflexology session, going barefoot is grounding, more ability to spread the toes, decrease anxiety and depression, strengthens and stretches the muscles, tendons and ligaments in your feet, ankles and calves.

I love it! Get more chi and go barefoot today!
