Potpourri makes a great decoration and makes the house smell scrumptious! Did you know that you can easily make potpourri at home? Make it for yourself or make it to give as a gift. All you need to do is add the potpourri to a pretty glass jar and it will make a great gift!

Thrifty Jinxy has an easy recipe for Homemade Orange Spice Potpourri. To make this gift very inexpensive, start collecting pine cones from your yard! I think small pine cones would work best for this project. If you are collecting pine cones from your yard, make sure to remove all bugs and debris before making the potpourri. The pine cones can be rinsed and then thrown in a hot oven for a few minutes to dry and kill off any bugs. Pretty simple gift idea!
