Grilling season is in full swing! Did you know that Johnsonville has burgers? Yes they do! The Johnsonville Bratwurst, Italian, Cheddar and Chorizo Patties are packed with flavor and of course their tasty sausage.

Johnsonville is holding a contest this summer for the tastiest burger. Enter the Johnsonville No Ordinary Burger Contest and you Could Win $10,000!

From now, until July 3, 2012, share your unique Johnsonville Burger recipe and you could win $10,000! Simply select any variety of Johnsonville Patties, let the creative juices flow and show us what you create.

Select finalists will be chosen to participate in a cook-off LIVE on national television this August, and the winner will receive the $10,000 grand prize!

I wanted to share with you my creation. You all know that I am cutting carbs as I aim to get healthier this summer. I decided to use lettuce wraps and no condiments (mayo, ketchup, etc.) for my Jonsonville Bratwurst Cheddar Burger. I made a relish with avocado, olives, tomatoes and banana peppers- it was awesome!


Burger Relish

Ingredients
  • 1 Avocado
  • ½ Cup Tomato, cut into chunks
  • ⅛ Cup Banana Peppers Rings, chopped
  • ⅛ Cup Sliced Olives
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Place over the top of your favorite burger!
