Other Items

I purchase a lot of produce. The one very good deal was the Asparagus in the bag was marked down to $1.99. I checked my receipt as I was leaving and it rang up $2.99. I stopped by customer service and the manager started to give me $1 back. I asked if this scenario applied to the scan right guarantee. With that question, she reached int he drawer and handed over $3.06! Plus I got to keep the asparagus! Make sure you always ask about the scan right guarantee if an item doesn’t ring up properly.

I found Coffee-mate Pumpkin Spice Creamer on markdown to $0.99. I also had a $1.25/4 Coffee-mate coupon so that made for an excellent deal.

Another deal you don’t want to miss:

Smithfield Bacon (12-16 oz.) – $3.00
$1/1 Smithfield Bacon, (SS 1/29/12)
$2 ea. after coupon!

Total Spent: $102.22

Total Saved: $80.63 or 44%

Make sure you check out all of the Kroger deals before you shop! Plus I would love to hear how your shopping trips have gone this week!

  1. I just recently started shopping at Krogers and found your website. Thank you for doing this, I think it will save me a lot of $. I had a question about Kroger’s Mega Event Sales? Is there a limit to the number of times you can get the $5 off, per transaction, per day, or per Shoppers Card?

    • Hi Renee,
There is no limit for this Mega Event that I know of. I was just able to do 40 items in one transaction yesterday. Sometimes in the ad it will have a limit but it does not state that for this event, at least for my region. You can always ask at the customer service desk to double check!
