A stack of catalogs and magazines arrive in my mailbox daily this season. What catalogs are arriving in your mailbox? Don’t just set them aside. LOOK for ways to save with each. Sometimes there’s free shipping and just the right price tag on something you have been wanting/needing—-and/or something your child needs.
Recently, I received two Land’s End catalogs. Both had a $10 off promo code on them and free shipping on any amount ordered. I didn’t need anything from Land’s End but the offer was too good to be true. Thus, I browsed their clearance bins: SALE items were priced just right. I found jeans for $12.99 (with the $10 off promo code and free shipping), they arrived in my mailbox for $2.99—better yet, they were for my daughter who only had one pair of jeans in her closet. I closed out that order and placed one more order for a different fit of jeans. They were $4.99 shipped.
She now has two new pairs of jeans under the Christmas tree for under $10—and a new catalog has arrived with another $10 off your order with the special promo code. So I’ll browse once more………do you have these Land’s End catalogs on your desk?
IF the jeans happen to not fit, I’ll sell them on a resale site online for what I have in them (with tags attached) and/or I’ll donate them to a household that can use them this season. Gas to look for jeans would have cost me much more——-and if they fit, we’ll enjoy these $29.95 original priced jeans for just a few bucks. She’ll wear them until she outgrows them and they’ll still be donated to our local union mission who helps families in need.
