Every year the U.S. National Park Service selects certain dates for no fee entrance to more than 100 National Parks. The 2012 schedule has just been released. You might want to look over the dates and plan some day trips or long weekends away to explore some National Parks!

Here is the link to the participating National Parks that will not be charging an entrance fee for the following dates.

Mark your calendar for these fee-free dates in 2012:

  • January 14-16
    Martin Luther King Jr. weekend
  • April 21-29
    National Park Week
  • June 9
    Get Outdoors Day
  • September 29
    National Public Lands Day
  • November 10-12
