IMG_3109How you organize your day versus how I (Litsa) organize my day differs! We are wired differently. I’m a paper/pen gal. I love to write down what’s for dinner (Menu Planning), what I have to do today, tomorrow—-yesterday (the list that keeps getting transferred)…….While making my lists of lists, I always try to document what I might be expecting to come in the mail (especially when it comes to items that affect our budget)…..

On my list of mail expectations, I also include items to look for in my INBOX. Here’s a sample list:

  • Rebate Card from P & G (Mail)
  • Rebate Card from Cascade (home address)
  • Rebate Card from Cascade (guest home address)
  • Ibotta app: $10 Wal-Mart Rebate (INBOX)
  • Ibotta app: Pledge Product Rebate (INBOX)
  • Kroger Catalina $1 (Mail)
  • Graze Box (Sept. Pd box)

Making a written list on my calendar and/or notebook helps keep me accountable to what I’m putting time into….and money….I want to make sure that nothing gets overlooked. Once a task is accomplished and/or a rebate card, etc. arrives, I mark it off my list so that I’m not looking for a check/card/email. On this list, I might also include something I’m waiting to arrive from Amazon, 6PM, etc.

During our crazy, busy weeks IF I don’t write it down, the “IT” gets toppled! What about you!?! How do you keep your family organized during the school year?
