My husband (Litsa’s) is a contractor that specializes in DO IT ALL! He’s known to build homes and fix/mend everything in between! He’s the plumber, the electrician and all. I get the most excited about his building skills—-and the loads and loads of wood piles that he creates. I always visualize fabulous fun crafts that can be made with these odds and ends pieces. The clients can have the outfitted homes with beautiful built ins, I just want the scraps! Ha! Actually, if I had to choose, I might be found selecting ‘it ALL’ and in the end trade it for time with him and our daughter creating projects out of crafts with scrap wood!

When I load scrap wood into the truck after visiting a job site, he always asks me what am I going to do with that wood? I really don’t ever have a real object to gathering it other than I see projects waiting to be crafted. So what would I make? I’m not sure………

But for October, I could create……..

pumpkin

…these Salvage Style pumpkins that I found on Pinterest HERE! A few nails might be found at his shop—-or more than I need!?!

Or this one HERE! Who “woodn’t” want a rusty door display full of decadent colors?

These scraps of wood need to be salvaged——made into projects to be shared with……….but I may not convince him that these projects need to be created this season! So I may have to venture past the wood scraps and find the tools to create………

heart

…projects like this Reclaimed Heart Art that others can fall in love with……..projects that one can touch….those seen in my heart of ideas!
