I (Litsa) love little charts like this one that remind me what to eat—spinach, kale, spinach, kale—and more kale!?!

These little charts are hidden in my monthly magazines. I dog ear my magazines or tear our these little charts until they fluttering through my work stash and bill stash—and then I must read them once more and toss them!?! I guess that’s why Pinterest is so popular! I need to create little pins but I’m so busy eating or managing these little memos of interest!?!

So who gets the pot of gold—spinach or kale!?! Kale to know WHY!?! READ on.

  • Spinach has 1 mg of iron as does Kale.
  • Spinach has 8 mg of vitamin C but Kale has 80 mg!!!
  • Spinach has 30 mg of calcium but kale has 100 mg!!!

Kale is still in season this winter! Eat up but don’t miss out on the spinach benefits too this season. Spring will be here soon and spinach will still remain in season. Kale will revisit us ‘in season’ in the fall/winter but I’m sure you’ll still be able to find it at your local grocery. Care to know if I’ll be looking for it!?!

Kale yeah!

A pot of gold is always worth the search!
