flipflop moscato

Today we are headed to my home state of California for Thirsty Thursday wine tasting! The goal of Thirsty Thursday is to find good and cheap wines for under $10.

This week I tried flipflop Moscato. If you like sweet wines, this is the wine for you. As I have mentioned before I prefer red wine and hubby likes sweet drinks. Although I like a drier wine,  the flipflop Moscato was not overly sweet. It was a nice dessert wine with floral aromas.

The other nice thing about flipflop Moscato is it’s a light wine. Sometimes sweet wines are heavy but this was not the case with the soft finish. Moscato is best served chilled but tasted fine when it sat out too.

Soles4Souls has teamed up with flipflop wines. For every bottle of wine purchased, flipflop wines will donate one pair of shoes for someone in need. Such a great idea as shoes are so important in impoverished areas to help prevent the spread of disease. By the way, if you are a blogger you can help out by participating in “flippin’ good deeds challenge”. This is a program designed for bloggers to encourage their communities to clean out their closets and donate gently worn footwear. Bloggers can host a shoe drive and blog about their “flippin’ good deeds” for a chance to win a trip for two on one of our international distribution trips.

flipflop wine retails for about $6.99 a bottle- pretty good wine for that price point!

As always, make sure you drink responsibly.

Make sure you check out Kansas City Mamas to view the other Thirsty Thursday posts!

Do you have a suggestion for a good and cheap wine under $10? Please leave a comment and let me know!

Disclosure: I was provided a bottle of flipflop Moscato for review purposes. All opinions expressed are mine.
