Tuna Lettuce Wraps

Quick, healthy, packed with protein and an easy way to cut carbs from your diet! Try this recipe or come up with your own combinations!

Tuna Fish & Yellow Pepper Lettuce Wraps Recipe
Recipe type: Sandwich
  • 5oz can of chunk light tuna
  • 1 tbsp. Miracle Whip or Mayonnaise
  • 1 Roma tomato, sliced
  • Mild yellow pepper rings
  • 2 Romaine lettuce leaves, whole
  • Celery salt (to taste)
  • Fresh ground peppercorn (to taste)
  1. Wash & dry lettuce leaves & then cut off the thick hard ends of each (you want only the soft, flexible end of the leaf).
  2. Drain tuna, add to small bowl and mix with miracle whip or mayo and seasonings to taste.
  3. Divide equally between both leaves placing near one end of each.
  4. Top with tomato slices & mild peppers.
  5. Roll up.
  6. Serve & enjoy!
* Substitute with canned chicken if preferred and experiment with your favorite veggies, cheeses, seasonings and/or experiment with different varieties of hummus, mustards or dressings---lettuce wraps are very versatile!
