Winter Wars: Layers & Movement

Winter has arrived for much of the country but among the frosty temperatures there are 2015 goals waiting to emerge! Don’t let single digits, single you out! Layer, layer, layer….and move, move, move!

Here’s a great tidbit about LAYERS to heat up your core as you define your core:

“The toastier your torso, the less blood gets drawn from your limbs to warm it up. Wear a scarf, vest, and other layers of loose-fitting clothing that can be shed if you get too warm. And don’t discount the value of good old thermal underwear.”

Gloves. Scarves. Thermal underwear. Layers of tees and tanks. Grab one or all—and go, go, go with this quote in mind,

“When you’re using your body and your body is REALLY fit, it opens up your mind!”

Imagine the doors you can walk through!?! The stress that will melt away! The focus for a better YOU. Give mini workouts a go this winter too—10 pushups, 5 crunches….mini MANY workouts to get moving more in 2015!
