Chunky Tomato Sauce with Italian Sausage Recipe
- ½ lb. Johnsonville Italian Sausage
- 1 28 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes with Peppers and Onions
- ½ Tbls. Dried Basil
- 1 Cup Half & Half (or heavy cream)
- ½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
- Spaghetti Noodles
- Cook Italian Sausage according to package directions. Drain fat from sausage.
- Add the diced tomatoes and basil to the drained sausage. Cover and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes.
- Add half & half and Parmesan cheese to sauce. Simmer on low for an additional 5 minutes or until sauce starts to thicken.
- Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles.
