So you all know that I am currently running in the Hillshire Farm Most Wanted Sandwich competition. There is still just under a month left in the competition and I am currently in fourth place-yeah!

Hillshire Farm just announced that they are going to donate $1,500 to each of the 15 participating bloggers charities of choice! I am so excited and thankful to Hillshire Farm for being so generous. The winner of the Most Wanted Sandwich will receive $5,000 plus another $5,000 to their chosen charity.

The charity I chose was Habitat for Humanity in Fluvanna County. There are several reasons for my choice of charity. The biggest reason I chose Habitat for Humanity is due to my husband getting a hole in one at a Habitat golf tournament. That hole in one scored him a new car! Since that time my hubby and I have wanted to make a monetary donation to Habitat for Humanity. Unfortunately our financial situation has not allowed that yet. We are very grateful to Habitat for Humanity and Hillshire Farm! It is so neat to see things come full circle!

I would love for you to keep voting for the Historic Virginia Stacker at GoMeat.com. You can vote once a day until March 20, 2011. You will also have a chance to print (2) $1/1 coupons!
