CVS Moneymaker

I went to CVS this week to score some of the freebie deals. Unfortunately I did not get there until midweek. That meant rain checks! Like I have said before, sometimes rain checks are a good thing. You can use them later to make deals even better.

Transaction #1

Zyrtec (5 ct.), $5.99
— Get $5.99 ECBs
Used Free item coupon and took off $5.99

Schick Hydro Razor, $8.99
— Get $3.99 ECBs
Used $4/1 Schick Hydro Razor, exp. 7/24/11 (SS 06/12/11)

Also got a rain check for Motrin and Bayer.

Used $3 in ECBs from last week.

Paid $1.40 in cash.

Got Back: $3.99 in ECBs from the Shick and $5.99 in ECBs from the Zyrtec.

Transaction #2

Not exciting for any of you, but I needed my passport photo! I used ECBs to pay which was great! I love turing a moneymaker into an item I really need!

Passport Photo, $9.99

Used $4 ECB and $5.99 ECB.

Paid $0.50

And thankfully, no one besides TSA and customs will be viewing my passport photo! Yeah, it didn’t turn out pretty! Do they ever?

How did you do this week? Score any good deals?

  1. I picked up the razor and Zyrtec too. But we do not usually use the other medicine that was on sale, so I didn’t worry about it.
