Cantaloupe

My garden survived the flooding from last week! I am so excited to cantaloupe, watermelon and eggplant fruit on the vine! We have never had much success with these three plants and I made a challenge this year.

watermelon

Isn’t that such a cute watermelon? We are hopefully that it keeps growing! My boys will love having homegrown melon- so much sweeter than store bought.

tomatoes

We have a ton of tomatoes on the vine. A few days ago we were able to pick some ripe tomatoes! My boys love the sweet 100 cherry tomatoes- they rarely make it from the garden to the house before they are eaten! As you can see, we have very large green tomatoes! Hubby can’t wait until these beauties ripen!

eggplants

The jewel of my garden- my eggplants! You have no idea how excited I am to see the eggplant fruit on the plants! I have several different varieties. I hope they grow large enough to make my Roasted Pesto Eggplant Sandwiches!

How is your garden growing?
