There has been a ground beef recall due to possible E. Coli contamination. The ground beef was sold in chubs at select retailers. Each box and chub bears the establishment number Est. 262 within the USDA mark of inspection. The freeze by dates are either August 12, 2011 or August 14, 2011. Either discard the meat or return it to the store.

Stores included in the recall:

Kroger: Stores in AL, GA, SC, and TN
Publix: Stores in AL, GA, SC, and TN,
Sam’s Club: Stores in AR, CO, ID, IN, IA, KS, MD, MI, MO, MT, NE, NM, OH, OK, PN, SD, UT, VA, and WY
Wal-Mart: Stores in IN, MT, NE, ND, PA, SD, and WY
Winn Dixie: Stores in AL, FL, GA, LA, and MS

This is getting scary! Last week there was a ground turkey recall.
