Lemons

I am in love with lemons right now. This is apparently evident as hubby asked why I bought so many lemons at the store! Lemons are great for so cooking, keeping produce from oxidizing and for flavoring water. Here is a little kitchen tip for you!

When you are trying to juice a lemon, roll it on the counter first. Rolling the lemon helps break down some of the fibers and gets the juice flowing.

Once you have rolled the lemon a few times, cut it in half. You can then squeeze out the juice or use a juicer.

This tip also works well for oranges and limes!
