Blenders, Blenders, Blenders

blenderAfter spending the evening juicing last night and thoroughly enjoying our (Litsa & daughter) fresh orange, lemon, lime, broccoli, kiwi, banana concoction, I was reminded that spring and summer smoothies are around the bend too!

I’ve been busy freezing fresh bananas, strawberries, pineapple, and more when the prices have been perfect! But, my blender may not make it through the season. It works well right now but our love of smooth, ice-cold smoothies packed with protein may wear it out! Thus, I shopped around Amazon for the perfect blender to add to my cart——ready to purchase when we need it.

There are many, many blenders to choose from based on your needs. I began by reading the reviews—four and five star reviewed blenders are on my list! I like the simplicity of the Hamilton Beach Power Elite. It’s price of $24.81 is perfect for my stay at home mommy budget. It’s easy to buy it with Swagbucks, Bing, and/or SavingStar Amazon reward cards! Thus, it’s first on my list because it’s budget friendly, does the job—makes smoothies, and has a four star review!

Next, on my list was the Oster blender! I love that it has the reversing motor—having blades that chop up our fruit and ice-cubes are perfect for a well blended smoothie! It’s a little pricer at $68 but may be worth the price difference if my budget allows for it when I need it.

However, I’m also eyeballing Montel Williams LWHME Health Master Elite Blender! Infomercials seem to hook me every time! Ha! I don’t watch them much but one quiet Sunday afternoon, I was mesmerized by the smoothies this machine created!

Adding a blender to your spring/summer list? Check out the reviews and be prepared to make delightful smoothies packed with nutritious ingredients that will have you saying, “Mmm!” every time!
