File it Friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

Stenciling With Bleach: I am a bit afraid of bleach, but these renewed shirts look really cool!

Spices on the Go: If you need to pack spices for a camping trip or to take on the go, this is a great tip! Use a plastic straw!

Bee Trap: Use a milk jug with apple juice to trap yellow jackets and bees. This is good to remember as we head into grilling season!

Chick Pea, Tomato & Basil Salad: This salad sounds like summer to me! I love simple salads as side dishes or as lunch!

Homemade Fruit Rollups: Kids love fruit snacks and rollups. I don’t buy them for my kids though due to the added ingredients. Here is a simple recipe for homemade fruit rollups that have no added sugar!

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.
