File it Friday

During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.

I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!

This weeks File it Friday ideas:

Herbs

How to Keep Herbs Fresh: If you are buying fresh herbs instead of growing your own, checkout these tips fro keeping them fresh longer!

DIY Library Totes: If you are a little crafty, checkout these homemade stenciled library totes. Very cute and perfect for the summer reading programs!

Saving Childhood Memories: I love, love, love this idea! A mom collects things that were left in her son’s pockets for years and years. For his wedding present, she fills a lamp with the collected items and gives it too him. Very clever!

Printable Action Cards: I came across these printable activity cards that will be great for summer fun! The Bubble Blast Science Experiment is on our to do list his summer.

Fill_Balloons_Candy

How to Fill Balloons: This is so neat and I want to try it! Fill a balloon to make a pinata!

I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.
