During the week I come across a lot of articles and blog posts that I think are worth reading. Or I come across a new recipe I want to try or a craft idea. Most of the time I don’t have time to read the whole article or follow through with making the the item at that moment. The ideas are just “filed” away for another day.
I thought it would be fun to share some of the ideas and articles I come across so you can file them for later. Plus this will give me a way to “file” the links to articles I want to read more about later!
This weeks File it Friday ideas:
DIY Plantable Paper: This is such a clever idea! The next time you need party favors, you can make your own biodegradable paper with flower seeds in it. Give your guests planting instructions!
Barbecue Chicken Cream Cheese Dip: This is an easy recipe for a yummy chicken dip! Maybe for those that don’t like the spiciness of buffalo dip!
Alphabet Soup: A fun game to teach your young ones the alphabet!
Melted Crayon Art: If you are brave enough to allow your child to use a candle to melt crayons, try this art project. I love the textures on the canvas in this melted crayon art.
Homemade Samoas Girl Scout Cookies: If you don’t want to spring for a box of Girl Scout Cookies (my oh my they are soooo expensive!), try making homemade samoas!
I would love for all of you to share your File it Friday finds! Did you come across a post this week that is worth sharing? A recipe, a craft, parenting tip or another good article? Feel free to share the link in the comment box below.

No problem Kelly! Your cookies look absolutely delicious!
DItto that thought on Girl Scout Cookies…the only reason we feel compelled to purchase is…it is a fundraiser…we think of it along the lines of giving to charity…:)
You are right Ashley! It is a fundraiser for a good cause. It still makes me really think about it before we mow down the whole box!
Renae, thank you so much for mentioning my recipe! Those homemade Samoas look so good!
