The Grocery Loop

grocery-store-loopWhat does your ‘normal’ grocery store shopping experience look like!?! I (Litsa) typically stay on this outer grocery store loop—shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables. Next, I look for Fage and/any frozen Organic items that I may need/want. Then, I zoom past the meat department unless meat is on our list (normally, we stockpile meat at Sam’s). Next, I grab milk and any cheese products needed. But what about the expensive aisles!?!

Are they truly THAT expensive!?!

The middle aisles may be your expensive and/or unhealthy aisles IF you don’t have a meal plan in place and/or if you are not watching sale prices!?!

Last month, we shared the inner aisles my also hold superfoods! There are indeed items that have an “inner goodness” so to speak in the middle of our grocery stores! However, when I’m shopping there, I AM looking for items we are completely out of and/or items that I can pair up with sales/coupons/apps and more with…..

Planning your grocery trip(s) each week around a menu plan keeps you making the right grocery loop with the right amount of savings.

Do you have a specific grocery loop you follow?
