I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Neutrogena. I received samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

We are an active family which means that many summer days are spent in the sun. While we enjoy soaking up those summer days at the beach, river, ball field or trail; I am cognizant of the damage that sun can do to our skin. Did you know that One in five Americans will develop skin cancer, yet only 20% use SPF daily? Not only do I worry about skin cancer, but I’m starting to see fine lines and wrinkles on my face. Oh the worries of getting older!

B sunscreen

I have always used sunscreen on my children to protect them from sunburns. After all, sunburns in children increase the odds of developing skin cancer later in life. However, Mr. B (age 7) has sensitive skin. He is prone to allergic skin reactions and has often broken out in a rash when sunscreen is used on his face. I recently tried the Neutrogena pure& free baby sunscreen stick on his face with wonderful results! He has no adverse reactions and the stick made it easy to apply. In fact the Neutrogena pure & free line is PABA free, fragrance free and hypoallergenic.

pure & free liquid

One thing that I usually dislike about facial sunscreen is the greasy feel. I tried the Neutrogena pure & free liquid sunscreen under my makeup with great success. It is oil free and a weightless liquid formula. Neutrogena sunscreens are 100% naturally sourced sunscreens which make them perfect for sensitive skin. They are broad spectrum sunscreens that reflect ans scatter both UVA and UVB rays.

If you are prone to eczema, five of Neutrogena sun protection products are now awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance! The five products are:

  • NEUTROGENA® Pure & Free® Baby Faces Ultra Gentle Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 45+
  • NEUTROGENA® Pure & Free® Baby Sunscreen Stick Broad Spectrum SPF 60
  • NEUTROGENA® Pure & Free® Baby Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 60+
  • NEUTORGENA® Sensitive Skin Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 60+
  • NEUTROGENA® Pure & Free™ Liquid Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50

So sensitive skin people, there is no excuse for not using sunscreen any longer! If you have tried these products, make sure to take the time to submit a review to Neutrogena.

Take care of your skin not only for beauty but for health.

In times like this, I know I need a sunscreen in order to protect my skin from the skin. Thanks for elaborating more about it and for letting us to be more aware of what else it can do to protect our skin.
