Medical debt snowballs are stationed on the side of our refrigerator next to one of my main work stations! They are there to provide a visual daily so that I can focus on MELTING them! IF only my gaze alone could melt them!?!

My debt snowballs are WHITE depicting the color of true snowball. The amount we owe is in RED reminding me that I never want my checking account to reflect that color! And GREEN is there to remind me to keep all the accounts in the clear—-on go, go, go! The little side tag in blue was to remind me which snowball to touch after the Christmas holiday trip away from home.

Sometimes these debt snowballs change weekly. Sometimes they change monthly. Each account has an appropriated amount to pay per month if the EOB (explanation of benefits) and medical bill have both arrived and have been matched. I pay the minimum on each and attack the top snowball with the MOST amount of money I can pay towards it without affecting our budget’s vision.
