This morning, I (Litsa) tried out Ashley’s Pefectea Maker from Teavana! I must say that it just might be the perfect tea maker!?!

It uses the ‘direct immersion method’ of brewing. When steeping, the lid is closed on this little plastic tea maker, allowing a constant temperature while brewing. You don’t stir or shake the tea leaves because the result may taste harsh, from extra tannins released.The Perfectea Maker can be used to make hot or iced tea.

My Personal Experience: The Perfectea Maker was easy to use and made the perfect cup of tea. Additionally, it was easy to wash/clean. My Samurai Chai Mate & Maharaja Chai Oolong cup of tea infused with German Rock Sugar was tantalizing. It awakened the senses and left a warming sensation within me. I thoroughly enjoyed the robust flavors of the tea that are much richer than ‘baggie’ tea! One cup just wasn’t enough—I had to refill the chamber to brew another cup of perfect tea! However, I didn’t refill the contraption with new tea leaves and/or sugar rocks. Thus, my second cup of tea was lighter but still full of flavor!
Highly recommended for tea lovers—or those that may want to embrace daily mugs of tea!
