Organize My Life: Garage Full of Stuff

Do you like my garage?

All of that junk/stuff was in my house just a couple of weeks ago. Some of it will come back in, but we are hoping to clean a lot of it out.

While I took the kids to California last week, hubby stayed home to refinish our hardwood floors. Almost our whole house had hardwood floors that were ruined by the water leek back in January. Refinishing the floors meant emptying the entire house besides the master bedroom and the two bathrooms. So basically it was like moving out!

Hubby loaded all of the big furniture back into our house. We decided to slowly put back the other items so we can really go through them and organize. We plan to weed out a lot of the toys since most of the time the boys don’t play with toys. Since our home is looking lovely with the new floors, counter tops and paint we are really trying to declutter and go minimalistic. I actually like the look currently with just the big furniture inside!

So I hope to update you next week with an EMPTY garage and a put together house. And if you really want to Spring clean, try emptying your whole house! Just kidding, it’s really not that much fun but it is effective!
