It seems like our family always has a NEED list….a WANT list….and a list that titter-totters between the two!?! A grill is on that list. WE have had our current grill for seven years and have used it weekly. Many times three or four times a week. Needless to say, it has weathered the weather and cooked many meals…….so we are wanting to replace it. We don’t NEED to do it right away but the grills are on sale at Home Depot. Additionally, Home Depot is running a sale on grills since they are an off-season lawn and garden item in West Tennessee. Plus there are coupons out right now for $5 off $50 or $10 off $100 purchase in the Lawn & Garden department (Sign up for Home Depot Garden Club for coupon)*—-so if we can roll a sale on a grill, this current coupon, and a contractor’s discount into our purchase, it might be the perfect season for needing-wanting a new grill.
What’s on your need/want list from the Lawn & Garden center at Home Depot? Do you need to consider purchasing your items for yourself now (during an off-season)!?! Shopping for our homes prior to when we need items saves us money. It is the season to stay focused on needs and pair those needs up accordingly to store sales and/or current coupons. Look for Lowe’s coupons in your junk mail piles. I (Litsa) have had a few of those arrive in the mail too ($10 off and more….).
Allow home purchases to be smart-savvy purchases no matter what the season is calling for now. If debt is assumed for purchases, it may make more sense to wait out a purchase and save for it.
