Do you see what I see?
Finally the sugar snap pea and shelling pea sprouts are coming up! Virginia had an unseasonably cold March. This delayed the cold weather vegetables that I planted a couple of weeks ago. Spring is finally here as this next week we will have temperatures in the 70’s. We just hope that Spring sticks around so we can get this garden going.
The seeds I planted in the greenhouse were also delayed. Even though they were in the greenhouse, the lack of sun and freezing cold kept the greenhouse from warming up. The broccoli has started to sprout now and I see signs that other seeds will sprout soon. What a relief! I was beginning to think we needed to start over.
